The Best Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients:

- 2 pie crusts (Pillsbury dough boy box) it’s red and comes with two crusts near the biscuit section at the grocery store

- 4tbsp salted butter

- 4 tbsp flour

- 1 cup chicken broth

- 1/4tsp Italian seasoning

- 1tsp salt

- 1/4tsp pepper

- 3 chicken breasts

- 8oz frozen veggies

Directions: Pre-heat oven to 425°

1. Salt, pepper, Italian season chicken

2. In medium sized skillet with dollop of oil cook chicken until fulled cooked.

3. While chicken is cooking, in another large sauce pan melt butter.

4. Once butter is melted completely, blend in flour, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning on medium heat.

5. Chicken should be down by now, transfer to cutting board to chop/shred chicken into pieces

6. In large sauce pan stir until all ingredients are smooth, add in the frozen veggies and cooked chicken

7. Mix in pan until everything is evenly coated

8. Turn off heat

9. Spray pie dish and lay out bottom pie crust. Add all fillings to the pie crust.

10. Lay over top pie crust, make sure to press together the edges

11. Bake on 425 for 35 minutes
